Supplier Quality Assurance Engineer - Kent

The Company
A leading manufacturer of electronic components for the Automotive, Aerospace and Telco markets. Currently employing in excess of 250 people they are currently expanding their global client base by acquisition and organic growth. The business offers engineering, support and design services as well as instillation and project management to their large customer base.
The Role
We are recruiting for an experienced Supplier Quality Assurance Engineer in Kent to drive the supplier development program within the business. Your key responsibilities will include
Analysing Supplier Capabilities
Developing Supplier KPI's
Driving supplier improvement,
Supplier & Material Audits
Developing suppliers by coaching, mentoring and training.
The Candidate
You will currently work within a Tier 1 manufacturing environment or similar as an SQA, be a good team player with excellent communication skills and a HND in Mechanical or Electrical engineering. Your technical experience should include:
A Lead Auditor qualification
Experience of AS9100 or ISO9001
Leading customers and supplier audits
Experience of developing and managing quality systems and processes
The ability to read technical engineering drawings
Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing knowledge
