The Job
Reporting directly to the Head of the Offshore Drilling Category you will impact bottom line through strong stakeholder engagement and will drive the Category forward on both a strategic and operational level by working closely with the global procurement function.
On a strategic level you will develop and implement category strategies related to drilling operations and upstream oil production by supporting stakeholders, leading category projects and developing cost modelling as a reliable decision making tool.
On an Operational level you will support vendor consolidation, maximise framework agreements and develop & manage vendor relationships.

The Individual
You will have a strong commercial background gained in the offshore oil and gas or marine industry combined with a solid knowledge of Procurement & Supply Chain.
You will be very commercially minded,have a technical understanding, be a great manager of stakeholders, a strong relationship builder and a proven negotiator.
Your background will include operational Procurement, Category Management and a strong understanding of the supply chain in the offshore industry

The Location
