The Global Logistics Manager will take responsibility for Cost Management across all Logistics functions and provide innovative solutions that improve materials flow as base expectations for this role. You will also be responsible for:
Transportation Management, (inbound logistics and outbound logistics), leading on integration on both supplier delivered and customer delivered quality.Warehousing, managing the overall budget for the EMEA and deliver regional cost savings in warehousing through the improvement of space costs, utilization and velocity whilst attaining world class warehouse cycle count performance for EMEA region. Supplier / 3PL Management, coordinate with other regional and corporate logistics leaders to build continuity in selection and performance management process Customs Compliance, own and lead customs compliance program and improvement initiatives in the EMEA region and create and maintain duty and trade map for the clients products in the regionTeam / Leadership Development, develop organization and succession plan for EMEA logistics team whilst managing, leading, coaching and mentoring direct and indirect reports to maximize global supply chain improvement initiatives
The Opportunity:You should have a degree in Supply Chain Management or Logistics, experience of implementing ERP System and developing / maintaining six sigma methodologies and lean distribution principles with a proven understanding of Profit and Loss (P&L) managementDemonstrable experience in supply chain management (logistics, distribution, transportation, customer service, purchasing and/or materials, management, finance) is required as well as a strong understanding of warehouse management, line side replenishment, in and out bound freight management, 3PL management skills and good information technology / software skills.
You will develop & maintain an excellent command of the Six Sigma methodology; lean distribution principles and IT project management methodology (ITPM). The Location:
