Petrochemical Logistics Manager - Middle East

$10,000 per month plus housing, transport, medical and flights
Our client a major general trading, manufacturing and service company requires a Petroleum Logistics Manager - for its operation in Saudi Arabia. You will be responsible for managing the overall project and team related activities, developing work plans, managing deadlines and coordination of team and sub-teams, estimating project skill requirements, defining and agreeing on deliverables and milestones and communicating status and vision to clients.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Manage production resources to meet operational objectives
Manage raw material inventory process
Manage daily production schedules
Develop staff to support operational objectives
Continuously measure and improve operational efficiency
Coordinate production with purchasing, logistics, and maintenance departments
Ensure all required environmental, health and safety, & quality training of subordinates is met
Comply with safety and regulatory requirements for operations
Coaching, training, and development of team members in their roles and also in corporate policies
Responsible for managing projects with budgets in $ million.
Assume total project accountability, which includes managing the customer interface, technical support, packaging machine, procurement, maintenance, and delivery .
Identify potential commercial, technical, and/or logistical issues and develop required corrective action plans to maintain cost, schedule, quality, and safety expectations.
Analyses and solves day-to-day operational issues on plant

And our requirements for the positions

Degree in Engineering - Chemical (Strongly Preferred), or related filed
Demonstrated computer skills
Excellent communication and writing skills
Demonstrated knowledge of OSHA and environmental regulations
Minimum of three (3) years experience in a project management
Petrochemical experience in (High-density polyethylene (HDPE) Low-density polyethylene (LDPE )Polypropylene (PP)
Packaging and palletizers machines knowledge
